Jake and his bud were playing Disney Monopoly.

Funny story.
Trenton, Jake's friend, landed on a "railroad".
Jake owned it.
Trenton asked how much he owed him.
Jake said $25.
Trenton didn't believe him so he asked me.
I said "yep, $25."
Trenton said that it just seemed a little high so wanted to make sure.

In the past few days I have been to Target (more than once), WalMart (more than twice), Old Navy, and Hobby Lobby.
I could seriously spend hundreds of dollars in each store...if given permission.
My main reason for going into ALL of these stores was not to peruse each aisle and drool over the yummy fabrics and oh-so-cute Valentine's Day decor and goodies, but to get in and out with tees needed for the shop.
Somewhere along the way I got a bit sidetracked.
I always do.

I almost forgot my 365 project and lost the natural light needed to capture an indoor shot without blur.

Well, I told you I'm doing this thing!

Day 2 brings...
Jake Austin and Alvin.
He and I went out today,
mother and son,
to Goodwill for some quality thriftin',
to Walmart for tees,
and to Mickey D's for lunch.
Enter Alvin.
Did you know he and all his buddies are the newest toys?
Brings back childhood memories for me.
I love that what once was old is becoming new to my kiddos.

I got a Happy Meal, too, and gave Jonah my Alvin so he wouldn't miss out on all the fun.

Over the last two or so years I have been following Nikki and Meg.
(Their blogs, not them...I'm no stalker!)
They each do 365 photos a year.
Everyday.
One photo.
How cool is that?!
And to my knowledge they never cheat and actually take a photo EVERY day.
This is my goal for 2010.
To take one photo. everyday. 365.
